COMPASS Groups

What are COMPASS Groups?

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: if one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!” God designed us to be joined with others: to learn, grow, and do life together.

Our COMPASS Groups kicked off on September 17th! We’re looking forward to “getting back into circles” on Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:00 (See 2017-2018 schedule to the right).

LP Teens

We believe it is important for teens to connect with all generations in the church so that they feel a part even after high school. Therefore, high school teens participate with adults in our worship services. We encourage them to join a Compass group and serve regularly in our kids / music ministries on Sunday mornings.

Fusion

Grades 6th-8th can be a confusing and exciting time and FUSION Student Ministries is tailored specifically to help them sort it all out. In a fun and relaxed environment students can explore their relationship with Jesus and how that can influence every decision they make! Fusion meets every Sunday morning after the music (~10:40 am) in the lower level.

KidStuf

In KidStuf we believe that the Bible is never boring, that good leaders always care, and that we can have fun on Sunday mornings. For elementary school kids, all of a sudden life begins to move really fast. But no matter how fast life gets, we have a God who’s really BIG. To help students keep God as a priority as they grow, we emphasize three things: we can trust God no matter what, we need to make wise choices, and we need to treat others the way we want to be treated! KidStuf is for K-5th graders and meets every Sunday morning after the music (~10:40 am) in the LP Kids Center (lower level).

Kidztown

In Kidztown, ages 3 – preK, we use interactive and fun stories/activities to teach preschoolers that God made them, God loves them, & Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Every Sunday morning after the music (~10:40 am), they have free play, prayer time, game/craft, Bible story, and snack with caring adult leaders.

Nursery

We know that leaving your new baby for the first time can be overwhelming. The volunteers in our Nursery have been chosen for this age group because of their love for babies and their training to care for all the needs of your infant. While you are attending our adult service, your child will receive incredible care and a great experience, just like you will receive!

We hope that the following information will help you and your baby have a great experience on Sunday morning. Please bring diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and any special blankets that will soothe your baby through the morning. Label all items that belong to your baby.

For parents of infants that are fussy and don’t want to be in the Nursery, we have created a private area behind the Worship Center where you can sit comfortably and still see and hear the service!
